proask launched from Tallinn in 2023 with a narrow mandate: publish the kind of first-hand stories and detailed case studies that actually change how someone approaches a problem — and skip the generic listicles, advice columns, and thought-leadership puff that dominate the rest of the internet.
We publish two formats, both verified and reported:
- Stories — first-person accounts from individuals: what they tried, what worked, what failed, what they learned. Freelancers, founders, career changers, skilled professionals.
- Case studies — reported business pieces with named companies, concrete numbers, timeline, and counterfactual (what would have happened otherwise).
Coverage
Organised by 8 regions — Europe, North America, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, East Asia, South Asia & Oceania, Central Asia & Eastern Europe. We actively seek stories from markets under-covered by English-language business press.
Editorial standards
Every piece is named-sourced (no anonymous quotes except where there's a documented reason — whistleblower, active litigation, safety concern). Every claim about numbers, outcomes, or facts is verified against a second source. We publish corrections promptly and visibly.
No sponsored content
proask accepts no payment for editorial placement. Companies featured in case studies do not pay, and pay-for-play pitches are auto-rejected. We take no advertising that shapes editorial decisions.
